About the Project

Keyrooms is an online hotel booking platform. They aim at providing pocket friendly hotels keeping consumer satisfaction as their priority. They accommodate a chain of 250+ hotels covering 14 different cities. On business or leisure, be it any occasion they provide you with comfortable stays.

Challenges

Our client has stepped into an established market having well known competitors. Knowing that offline marketing alone is not enough to survive, they took digital support. Client had pre-existing mobile applications for both vendors as well as the users that had a limited scope and lacked digital integration. The application was not eye pleasing and took in high labour to search for the desired result. The development was undertaken ignoring the SEO trends due which it had poor ranking.

Solutions

To be able to survive in a competitive market their UI design had to be made so attractive that people could engage with it. We undertook their SEO and SMO and targeted location specific traffic to increase conversions. Various Ad Campaigns were also run on social media. A new feature of ‘Near Me’ was set up so that users do not always have to enter the location manually.

Results

Booking for hotels is no more a hassle, the process is simplified and presented in front of the user. UI interface was reformed and made eye pleasing. Tirelessly working on their SEO helped us gain 1.7K new users through organic and direct searches over a very short period. We made a jump from 2K to 10K downloads as suggested by Google Play Store Data.
